Leslie and the LY’s: Zombie Killer

Ya’ know, i try and do something nice for you kids by providing a few kick-ass zombie music videos every once in awhile because i wanna’ help get your weekend started right! But i’m starting to think that ya’ll are messing with me. First it was the ukelele stylings of Kirby Krackle, then the manufactured k-pop of T-ara and now… this?

I mean, you guys don’t actually enjoy this one, right? Sure it’s got an amusing sort of kitsch, but Leslie and the LY’s were a bad joke even back in 2005 when they released the video for Gem Sweater. Granted, this does feature zombies and guest vocals by Elvira, Mistress of the Dark… not to mention a surprise cameo by Mark Borchardt and Mike Schank of American Movie! So it’s not all bad.

Anyway, the original version of Zombie Killer is available on Leslie Hall’s second album Door Man’s Daughter. But c’mon, people… you’ve gotta’ stop screwing with me. I need some metal, here! Thrash, death, black, even psychobilly or punk would do. We haven’t exhausted the zombie-themed depths of decent music videos already, have we?
