And even if you’re not attending Comic-Con yourself, you can still send this schedule to your nerdy friends on Facebook, Twitter or whatever else just by clicking on the Share icon below. I mean, just because we can’t go ourselves doesn’t mean our spoiled-rotten friends shouldn’t have a good time, right? The lucky bastards.

[Editor’s Note – All Comic-Con 2012 posts have been combined in this one entry.]

Ah… Thursday morning; the first full day of Comic-Con! Hopefully you got some sleep last night because you’ll need to get an early start today:

First thing you’ll want to do is make a run to the Activision booth #5344 and pre-order a copy of their upcoming Walking Dead video game. The first 100 pre-orders will receive an “extremely limited edition version” of Daryl’s ear necklace from the AMC television series.

Of course, if you prefer some Walking Dead comic book exclusives, you’d better get to the Skybound booth #2729 for a limited edition hardcover compendium, bloody Michonne variant action figure and Vannen watch.

Next, swing by the BOOM! Studios booth #2743 and score yourself an exclusive “Get-A-Sketch” variant cover of FANBOYS VS. ZOMBIES #1. Series artist Jerry Gaylord will be on-hand sketching zombified versions of fans to create unique, one-of-a-kind covers.

Beginning around 11:00am Gary Reed from Deadworld will be at the IDW Publishing Booth #2643. Actually they’ll have a ton of zombie comic book artists and writers there all weekend!

Alright, grab some lunch and head to Room 6A at 3:45pm for The Walking Dead Comics a comic-book based discussion panel on… yeah, more Walking Dead.

Now get some rest, because you’ll definitely want to be ready at 7:00pm for History Of The Modern Zombie in room 7AB. The Zombie Research Society is hosting a discussion with some of the leading experts in the field. Moderated by author Matt Mogk and featuring Scott Kenemore, Steven Schlozman and Max Brooks among many, many others… this is the ultimate zombie event of Comic-Con 2012!

Finally, you might as well stick around room 7AB. Because at 8:00pm Broadcast Thought will put Zombies, Vampires and Werewolves On Trial as physicians and psychologist discuss the medical and forensic science of the undead.

As we mentioned last night, this certainly isn’t everything. So if you’ve got a zombie-related Comic-Con event or some exclusives you’d like to tell us about, just leave a comment or send us an email!

Of course, if you’re actually out there in San Diego living the dream; you’ve probably got enough on your plate already. So just take care of yourself, stay hydrated… and for goodness sake, take a shower before you go back tomorrow!

Friday marks the second day of San Diego Comic-Con 2012, and the madness continues. We hope you really like The Walking Dead and Resident Evil, because today’s schedule is chock full of ’em! We’re posting just a few of the zombie-themed events that you’ll want to see. So grab your swag bag, and let’s get started:

Might as well begin your day in Hall H at 10:45am where the writer, director and stars of ParaNorman will debut new footage from their animated zomedy.

Don’t wander too far from Hall H though, because at 1:25pm there’s a Q&A with the producers and stars of AMC’s The Walking Dead, including David Morrissey aka “The Governor!”

You know… maybe you should just take your lunch and camp out in Hall H because at 4:05pm Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez and others will join director Paul W.S. Anderson to discuss Resident Evil: Retribution.

If you make it to room 6A by 4:45pm you can catch The Writer’s Room with Jonathan Ross featuring guest Robert Kirkman, writer and creator of The Walking Dead.

That ends early enough that you should have plenty of time to shuffle over to room 25ABC by 6:00pm for Resident Evil 6: The Fear and Horror! where CAPCOM producers will demo the latest installment in the zombie video-game series.

And if that wasn’t enough Resident Evil, ya’ better hurry to room 5AB. Because at 7:30pm the Resident Evil: Damnation worldwide trailer premieres! There’s also a seven-minute sneak peak of the film followed by a Q&A featuring the director and producer.

So that’s just a small taste of what’s going on within the confines of Comic-Con itself. For those of you ready and willing to break out into San Diego proper, there’s a few more events that you may wanna’ check out.

The first is Zombie Walk: San Diego which kicks off around 5:30pm at 4th & Broadway. You can probably guess what that’s all about, but swing by the official website for more information if you’re ready to terrorize the historic Gaslamp Quarter.

Last is “Con-of-the-Dead,” the official after-party for Zombie Walk: San Diego, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Voyeur (755 Fifth Ave.) FEARnet is sponsoring the event which will feature undead go-go dancers and Resident Evil 6 demo stations. Unfortunately the party is invite-only, but the Zombie Walk will give out tickets on Twitter and Facebook. So there’s a good chance you’ll get in if you’re a part of the actual zombie walk. Good luck and have fun out there!

Alright guys, thanks for sticking with us for the last couple of days. After all, we’re not at Comic-Con, and most of you aren’t at Comic-Con… but there is a whole lotta’ zombie news at Comic-Con! So we’re gonna’ wrap up our guide with this two-for-one weekend edition, and we’ll get back to our regularly scheduled programing sometime next week. So, without further ado:

Saturday
Sleep in a little, it’s the weekend! Just make sure you get to room 11AB by noon to catch CBLDF Master Session: Charlie Adlard. The Walking Dead illustrator will put on a drawing demonstration and the art will be auctioned off to benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.

Um… that’s pretty much it for Saturday. I guess you can stop by the IDW Publishing booth #2643 around 3:30pm and have comic artist Ashley Wood (Robots vs. Zombies) sign a copy of his new limited edition hardcover collection.

Sunday
Get started at 11:00am by checking out the Chilling Archives of Horror Comics: Zombies panel in room 32AB where comic historian Craig Yoe and Steve “Karswell” Banes examine zombies of the 1950s. (Free prizes for attendees who arrive in zombie costumes!)

Alright, now you’ve got a choice to make:
Max Brooks: Zombie Survival 101. From 2 to 3 p.m. in Room 7AB.
-or-
Cover Story. From 2 to 3 p.m. in Room 25ABC featuring Charlie Adlard (The Walking Dead.)

If you took my advice and saw Charlie Adlard yesterday morning, the decision should be an easy one. So i’m gonna’ recommend you head for Zombie Survival 101, but it’s up to you.

What a way to end Comic-Con, huh?

There ya’ go; a brief… very brief, zombie-centric guide to San Diego Comic-Con 2012! I hope that at least a few of you out there had a good time, and maybe even saw a panel or met an artist that you may otherwise have missed. We’re already looking forward to next year!
