ZombiU: Announcement Trailer!

Are you ready to get excited about a zombie game for a console that doesn’t even exist yet? I suppose if endless waiting is your thing, then you’d better get started now because Ubisoft has just announced ZombiU for the upcoming Wii U.

For the second time in history, a great plague has enveloped London in a fog of death. Big Ben tolls as hundreds upon thousands of the unprepared die or are infected by a sickness worse than death…

You are still breathing for now; but how long will you survive in the labyrinth of London streets and underground? The horrifying remains of humanity ravaged by the foul disease shuffle through the streets waiting to prey on your living flesh at every turn!

The epic announcement trailer above is cool and all, but the game itself looks… meh. The really exciting part is how ZombiU takes full advantage of the revolutionary new Wii U controller, which basically becomes your “Bug-Out Bag.” It’s the ultimate all-in-one survival kit for your tools, inventory, med kits, maps and more. You can check out a video demonstration here, or visit the official website for even more information!

  1. I saw this trailer on the G4 site… I’m torn. The game and the use of the new Nintendo pad controller look well designed. It looks like it would be a blast to play… but… do I want to purchase a new system for one game? A system that may or may not be. I’d really love to give this game a go, but… other than some bits of specs, we really don’t know much about the Wii-U. All in all, the use of the controller really looks to have some very cool options in this game.
