As we gather today to celebrate the beginning of summer, reflect on the role of law in our society, or to reaffirm our loyalty to the United States; we must not forget that May 1st also marks the beginning of another very important occasion… Zombie Awareness Month! It’s time to wear your gray ribbons for the cause:
Supporters of Zombie Awareness Month wear a gray ribbon to signify the undead shadows that lurk behind our modern light of day. From May 1 through May 31, concerned citizens take this small step to acknowledge the coming danger.
Zombie Awareness Month was originally developed about five years ago by Matt Mogk, founder and head of the Zombie Research Society. It has grown steadily more popular, and continues to be instrumental in raising awareness of the coming zombie plague. Keep your eyes open all month as the worldwide zombie community expands its efforts to educate our friends and family, and help to prepare us all for the inevitable zombie apocalypse!
